Delaney & Bonnie
Bonnie Bramlett was a rock/soul singer who was the first white singer to sing with Ike & Tina Turner’s Ikettes. That was at age 15, the year after she toured with Albert King. She met and married her Delaney Bramlett in 1967 and in 1969 they were signed to Stax. They recorded just one album here, Home, but it was not commercial success. Part of the reason for that was iffy promotion because it was it part of a project in which Stax released 27 albums at one time to make a splash in the marketplace.
